CAKE
RAFFLE - MONEY DRAWING
At the entrance
to the auditorium where the free-music programs are held, we
sell tickets for a cake drawing and a money drawing at 9:00 PM during
the band's break. So come join in the fun and buy tickets (just $1.00)
to try to win a homemade cake, pie,
banana pudding, basket of candies, or whatever else is donated to the
cake raffle by
our fans and guests that night to help us with our project. You'll enjoy
the family
atmosphere and the great entertainment by local musicians!
Also at
the front door, committee members sell:
Woodbine Opry CDs (recorded live Friday and Saturday nights by Tim
Murray)
J.C. Hunnicut's CDs (he's a Saturday night regular entertainer)
Woodbine Opry T-Shirts and caps
Memory bricks
Miscellaneous items
Proceeds go to raise money for the old school renovation
 The
money drawing is held after the cake raffle,
and here Hoydt Drury enlists the help of a youngster
to draw the winning ticket.
Half of the proceeds of the ticket sales
go to a lucky winner--
and it's all for a good cause, to raise
money for the old school renovations.
MEMORY BRICKS
At right is a
picture
of the memory bricks sold to
former students and friends
of the old
school and
placed under the flagpole.
You, too, could have a memory brick with your name on it by ordering one
for $35 from a committee member.
