your plans to attend this special day and join us in celebrating the
renovations we’ve accomplished with your help! The Woodbine Opry
has helped us tremendously with their free musical programs for the
community and a big “thank you” goes to them for our success in raising
funds. Come see the improvements to the old school and enjoy the day!
The Crawfish Festival will be going on in Woodbine, too! All
former alumni of the old high school and elementary school, including
teachers, and friends are especially invited!! This year the Old
Camden High School’s Class of 1960 celebrates their 50th anniversary
and will be joining us on the program.
Friday night: 7:00pm-10:00pm – Woodbine Opry’s Bluegrass Music
Saturday: 11:00am - BBQ meals on sale
11:00am - Woodbine Opry’s Bluegrass music
1:00pm - 2:00pm Program with special speakers and honorees.
Drawing of raffle items at 2:00pm, following the program
7:00pm – Woodbine Opry’s Country music
Tickets will be on sale for raffle items.
Other sale items: BBQ dinners, bake sale,
Old Woodbine School/Opry T-shirts,
Memory bricks, C.D.’s, caps, cups, etc.

ANNUAL EVENT
The old Woodbine
School sponsors an ANNUAL ALL ALUMNI “OPEN HOUSE”
at the school on the last Saturday in April in conjunction with
Woodbine’s Crawfish Festival. We
have Bluegrass music, Country music, BBQ and a large cafeteria to cool
off and eat; program in the
auditorium for alumni and friends with a drawing on the latest items
we’ve collected for raffles, thrift shop to find that treasure, and
many activities to enjoy. Our
regular scheduled music programs and dinners are also offered on that
weekend.

CLASS REUNIONS
We encourage all
former classes to hold their class reunions that last weekend in April,
either renting our cafeteria for their own dinners, meetings or at least
in the area so they can attend the functions at their old alma mater.
We give those classmates an opportunity to be part of our program
on that Saturday, too.
So far, the classes of 1952 thru 1956 have taken part in this program,
marking their 50th year class reunions in the form of skits,
readings, etc.
